I don't own this product. But I know using vaccum can't pick up duct from vent 100%. There is also a very thin layer (or streak) of dust left behind. Not the same thing.

Using this should provide cleaner result. I am still thinking if I want to buy this.

A vacuum is more thorough only if you have attachments which can go inside the fins. This slime is a cheap solution for people who dont have a vacuum and dont want to spend a lot.

These dont pick up much but better than nothing. They leave an oil residue on the car so if you have a vacuum that can, use the vacuum.
