Cameras aren't that great. 10 seconds latency which means it starts recording too late

I own 5 cam and motion detection is just awful. The setting for a grey out zones is just doesn't work and peeks whatever is at the camera sight. Wont spot a dog shittin on your lawn only spots when it walks away.

Yikes. Are you sure it's not a function of good wifi connectivity?

I guess you are not reading what I posted . . .

. . . the blink sucks . . . so NO it will not be a "better option" . . . at any point in time, unless you travel back 2-5 years.
Lol I tried to make this clear also, this blink would be better in the example of This video. Because the older Wyze camera is an INDOOR camera, and you'll go through a few before the Blink camera will go out. Again in this situation it's better, but this video is old and Newer cameras are available that are better like the Wyze outdoor camera. Lol calm down.

True but I think at the time of the video they didn't have the subscription. 😂

Using the same batteries that came with my XT2s. Installed in August of 2019. All around the perimeter of the house. Front door, back door and driveway gets tons of action. In two months it will be two years on five cameras with the original batteries.
Do pedestrians or cars drive by your home? I'm guessing not.

My experience is with multiple cameras.

I would not recommend these if you live in an urban or suburban location.

If your house is isolated, I'm sure its fine.

Is it worth getting the new Sync Module 2 with a bundle kit if I'm on the older system? Or does it offer no benefit since my account was a grandfathered one with free storage?
I thought they were the same, but if anyone else knows different, please let us know. I have a sync module from the original xt set but did not change it when I got my xt2 set. I have it as a backup to plug in if the first one ever goes out.

How does this compare to the Wyze cam which offers 14 days of free rolling storage?

Edit: The Wyze is not battery-powered. This is the battery version, but it seems not nearly as long lasting as Blink. So battery vs free storage.

Nice deal. They have the 2 camera set for $104.xx. I had an option to add the 1st gen Echo Show 5 for another $10. Two cameras and an echo show for $114.xx is a steal.

Take it from my experience and pick yourself up a 2k camera or higher...you will not look back. These are max 1080p. Currently using Amcrest 2k security cam and the picture quality are just amazing.

Would honestly avoid these and only get them as an absolute last measure. They're kind of useless. Latency issues and half the time you can't even take a picture with them or view the live stream. Bought 2 a year ago and would rate them a 2/5

Have had the 1st and 2nd gens. They work pretty well but you need to make sure you have great wifi-connectivity (anything below 5 bars is terrible) and proper lighting.
Sometimes shadows (think trees swaying above it) affect the motion sensors with both false positive and negatives.
I do wish it wasn't so affect by network connectivity e.g. record first locally and worry about uploading later.
The battery life could be much better.
