on the BB site, there is nothing about that....it simply says Cloud....the local storage option is grayed out for this model.

Unfortunately, functionality is quite limited without a subscription. They give you free subscription for 30 days, but I suspect that is to get you past the return window before you discover how much capability is reduced if you don't subscribe.

I wish they make it easier to remove old videos at once or give options to automatically overwrite the old files when space is used

In my experience, the blink cameras do not work well with rechargeable batteries at all.
I believe there is a limited amount of cloud storage for free, but it is quite limited. A subscription is required for something more.
