Check this out!
If you're modifier savvy enough you can even mod the satellites to use 3.5mm connections so you can easily unplug the satellites audio cable instead of having the default hard cable. That's what I did.
I used these along with some speaker wires, wire stripper, and a soldering iron to make my own custom connection to the satellites:
MJS-CM Stereo 3.5mm Female Jack Chassis Mount Audio Connector
NYS 231 REAN 3.5mm Nickel Stereo Mini Plug
NYS226BG 2-Pole Mono 3.5mm Plug (Black)
For reference, if your sub-woofer ever blows out in the future you could replace it with the "Tang Band W6-1139SI 6-1/2" Subwoofer" as it just drops in but it's not worth replacing the stock subwoofer on a brand new Klipsch 2.1 Promedia speakers because it's not cost efficient. And also the box is not ported for the Tang Band subwoofer for the low end. For $89 currently, it's not a good bang for your buck to upgrade the subwoofer.
