This is a great camera and I absolutely love the quality, but if you wear glasses beware. The ring light will reflect right off your glasses so you'll have some white circles in them. I have this but keep the ring light part off and use an external ring light that is off to the side. Still, the camera quality is great on this one.

I bought two of these when most of the "standard" Logitech cams were being seriously marked up, and this was on sale for $80. I have been pleasantly surprised by this model.
Pros:
- Great hardware, nice build and specs
- Picture Quality is great
- Flexible mounting hardware options
Gimmicky:
- Ring light is nice, but ultimately does not do much to change the image/picture quality in most instances. Like the poster above said, you're better off investing in a cheaper, external ring light. It does not hurt to have in a pinch though.
Cons:
- Everything managed in Synapse, which most people do not care for. I myself have not had any issues with it so far (aside from occasionally "too frequent" updates requiring reboots). If you are already invested in the Razer ecosystem and have a Blade or a Viper Ultimate that utilizes Synapse, it is convenient to also manage your camera in the same spot.
- Not that many configuration options for the camera itself are available within Synapse. Most of the "bread and butter" stuff is there, but not a lot of extras or anything unique.

I was on a call recently with two people using Sony mirrorless setups (I think a44x and a46x or something like that?) and one person using a Kiyo. You could see the difference for sure, but the Kiyo held its own. I personally go with built-in camera and horrible lighting so people have a hard time telling I haven't showered in a week. 🦨

Just turn the skin smoothing or beauty setting to the max and they ll think you're a natural beauty.

I own this. Nice quality all around but doesn't swivel. Like, at all. So you better be down with the exact angle off the monitor.
I'm not. So I have it awkwardly attached to a gorilla pod and clamped to my monitor stand. Works, looks good, but should be able to get even a little angle without this garbage for the price.
An apt comparison would be the c920. If you have good room lighting, it looks like you might get a more true to life color reproduction with the c920, according to this video: https://youtu.be/cxyDfrNuZhY . If in low light, this might be the ticket for you. I personally do zero gaming streaming, so I might hold off on this deal
I have this and the Logitech. I prefer the Logitech because this is too tall and gets in the way, especially if it's flipped upside down. Also, I prefer to have a shutter for when it's not in use (rather than just unplugging it).
Bought it for a client. Found the ring light did not do much to help light the users face in a well lit room where the window is behind the user. Maybe in a darkish room it is better?

I'm surprised at all the positive reviews. Seriously surprised.
The camera sucks.
The dynamic range is atrocious. You put the ring light on and everything is blown out – so you lower it to minimal brightness and it adjusts exposure... to still be blown out, now with more artifacts!
I use it as my 3D printer timelapse and it sucks for even that.

I will second the fact the Ring light does make a reflection. If you have additional lighting the room the software and lens take full advantage.
