Yes, I was surprised as well when I saw them. The buttons feel like garbage, but if you can't swing $10-$15 for a Casio or TI or get a used one it is better than nothing I guess.

Crazy cheap.

In terms of functionality, it reminds me of the TI-51a-II that was a whopping bargain in the mid '70s for around $100! And that only had a single line LED display!

These calcs used to be a big deal 10 years ago. engineering life would not exist without it. They go as high as $100. $2.7 with scientific functionality is crazy.

And the batteries used to last. I still have my HP 12C that still is running off the original batteries from the early 1980s. I have an HP calculator that newer and rechargeable - not as lucky as the battery leaked. But with this calculator it is just cheaper to throw the calculator out than replace the battery. At least the battery is screwed in so some kid does not eat the battery. So great deal.

As a calculator nerd, this really depressed me. I still use my HP 48GX off and on and love calculators so it hurts to see a calculator selling for $3. Please note, I did thumbs up the deal because it's a great price!

I still have a Casio circa 1985ish that still has the original battery AND WORKS (not solar). I think its possessed by a demon.
