I love Carrera sunglasses. I got my first pair in 2009 on a trip to Italy. They were a lot more than $30 but my wife was buying herself an expensive purse so it was my chance to treat myself lol. I have a fat head and their aviator styles fit me well and don't make me look like a bug (my wife's description of what narrow glasses do to me). I have picked up pairs over the year in sale, but this might be the lowest I have seen them. Prior to wearing Carreras I used to wear Gargoyle glasses (late 90s, early 2000s) but they eventually went out of business.

Can someone please tell me if they have experience with this carrera brand? I'm tempted but see a lot of sunglasses deals now a day, I can't afford more than 1 so I would just like to know. TIA

I picked up the previous FP deal -- good quality sunglasses, until I snapped off one of the temples a couple days ago. Great timing on this deal, in for two pairs this time.

I haven't tried their sunglasses, but Carrera makes top quality, and expensive, ski goggles so they know their way around lenses. I've always had good experiences with the brand.

i have a couple pair and just picked up a 3rd pair. they polarization is quality. as good as my $60 oakleys. blows the walmart level polarization out fo the water. which can suck for things like looking at your phone. but durability wise they are definitely quite good.

for $30, assuming they arent knock offs(which i doubt)... i think this is a solid buy.
