I have this for 6 weeks already. I like it more then I thought I would. I replaced CPU fan with vetroo V5 and rear fan with be quiet 92mm PWM. Extra $40 and definitely worth doing long term for extra airflow. GPU is mining when idle for 29.5 MH with -200core, +650mem,70 power limit and 53% fan speed (custom curve in msi afterburner). GPU temp 53C.

Clean windows install is a must.

Add the AMEX $120 off $599 and this is pretty hot.

For everyone who bought or is buying this, you should watch the Games Nexus review of this card! ( Just search "Dell GN GPU" it's a POS and I bought it myself. If you going to keep just the card, I would flip it before the 1 year warranty is up or of its possible a better heatsink and fan for the gpu. And I noticed there are so many of these Dell oem broken cards selling on ebay!

Sold my old used 1660ti last month for $740 on the bay. Think the price stupidity is peaking now that crypto prices are also dropping. This PC seems like a good value for the money in this current market.

The only difference from this one is the CPU, right? 11400 vs 10400? I think the RAM is the same but just runs at higher speed with the 11400.

I wonder if it's worth the extra $20...
Definitely worth it. The cpu is about 10% faster, the memory speed is 9% faster, it has pcie 4.0 instead of 3.0.

As usual, the CPU cooler on this is absolute trash. Factor in an instant cpu cooler upgrade, as you'll be thermal throttling with any gaming.

Yeah seems way worth it. My order for the other hasn't shipped... I am chatting to see if I can change just the CPU and pay $20...

Good onboard graphics if you decide to flip the GPU, much better than previous gen.

i ordered that 10400 one. honestly, you won't notice a performance difference (other than benchmarks perhaps). with that said, i would still pay the extra $20 for this one.

Could you link these perhaps and are they easy to upgrade? Haven't built my own PC before but it doesn't sound too hard..

Someone posted about the fan on an Amazon review..

"FYI if buying for a Dell, the plugs on the fans are different and Dell couldn't just do a straight pin out they had to twist the wires (typical Dell) so slight modification is necessary to plug into the board of the small form factor. You can just look under the sticker on both fans to figure out the correct wiring order, the boards are labeled thankfully but be careful you can fry your board or start a house fire!"

Proprietary psu and motherboard, to be expected from a Dell prebuilt. Decent value given the current market

Can anyone confirm the $120 off $599 AMEX offer does in fact apply to this deal?

This line in the AMEX offer terms makes me nervous:
"This offer does not apply to refurbished items, systems or spare parts and is not valid for online auctioneers, Professional Associations, or other Dell Member Purchase Programs."
When I begin the checkout process, Dell does refer to this system being in my "Member Purchase Program Cart". Any input is much appreciated! Smilie

1)remove cpu, close the bracket and align screws with holes on cooler base. Also note the letter V on cooler base, install it so you don't have it upside down like me, remove cooler base

2) plug in CPU fan (there is almost no space after base install)

3) put thermal paste on CPU, install CPU

4) install base

5) snap on cooler

Optional: give me thumbs up

8GB is max supported RAM? Seems a little low for a modern desktop no?

Apologies, new to PCs...The product description says "8GB (1x 8G) 2933MHz DDR4 RAM (max. supported)." Does that indicate you can't add additional RAM (e.g., 8 additional to bring it to 16GB) or does that refer to something else?
