These are very similar to the legendary GP 4000s II tires, but are less so designed for daily training and more so for being ultra light racing tires. Available in 23mm and 25mm. Note, this is a Daily Special, so price may only good for today.

A Tire For When Every Watt Counts
The Grand Prix TT is the ultralight counterpart to Continental's popular Grand Prix 5000 Racing Tire. It's built on the Black Chili compound, an ultra-dense rubber with higher silica content for outstanding grip and blazing speeds. This cutting-edge material is also optimized for reliability and longevity, making it a great choice when performance and durability are top priorities. A minimized tread provides a slightly lower rotational weight than the standard GP 5000, making the TT a great choice when the clock is ticking.
Additionally, Continental's Vectran puncture protection barrier has been added beneath the rubber. This patented ultra-high-density belt allows the tire to remain extremely light while offering reliable protection against flats.
BlackChili Compound: With Continental's unique tread compound, which is produced only in Germany, they have revolutionized cycling tires. With the legendary BlackChili Compound, they found the best balance of grip and rolling resistance for cycling. Regular tests conducted by the tire giant have confirmed the measurable and noticeable advantages for cyclists, established in the laboratory and on the road. The latest polymers, as well as specially developed carbon black particles and filler materials, guarantee unique performance with this compound.
Vectran: This revolutionary material is a synthetically manufactured high-tech fiber that was inspired by spider webs. Like spider silk, Vectran is a liquid-crystalline polymer (LCP). Vectran is spun from the melted liquid polymer Vectra and processed further to a multi-strand thread. Spider silk-like Vectran has an enormous tear resistance at a very low weight — the exact right properties to process into a tire as a puncture protection insert. A Vectran Breaker is lighter, more flexible, and protects more effectively against cuts than the comparable nylon breaker. The Vectran Breaker does not adversely affect the rolling resistance.

Features
  • Three fabric plies for a total of 330 TPI
  • BlackChili Compound
  • Vectran Breaker Puncture Protection Belt
  • Ultra-strong Kevlar folding bead
  • Max inflation pressure of 120 PSI
  • Weight approx: 180g

Per tire... the German made Continentals are typically in the $40+ price range.
