I have and still use this brush to clean baby's dishes. I never use the bottom part but it constantly gets dirty and I'm constantly taking it apart to wash and sanitize. I would go with a stand-alone single brush.

This is true, but when you feed 8x a day or more during infancy, its not practical to use the dishwasher, unless you either use a lot of dishes yourself, or you have like 50 bottles you keep in rotation.

Thanks. According to Oxo information, the one you linked is about 2" longer, which will help with some water bottles we have. Will give it a shot.

so it's not good for some old dry caked on stains. also any brush
may be more effective if you soak the stain in "bar keepers friend".

Do NOT use for cleaning toilets. These are not pet friendly. Toilet brushes should be kept in a base that covers the entire brush. Animals can lick the chemicals left on the brush and become sick.
