For some reason, the BKs around here take 10+ minutes to make your order. The employees are genuinely unhappy about their job and don't try to hide it.

It's a great deal but because of the wait times, I can see why people are less likely to frequent a BK

I drive clear across town quite often just for BK, since feeding a family is more suitable at this location.

Chicken nuggets are highway robbery at any other location. At BK, you add it during the checkout for $1.50 for 10. The same thing would cost me over $4 or $5.

Usually I just go there and order rather than use the app.
It gives you the option to redeem in restaurant.
I don't go to BK often but I like their original chicken sandwich with 2 small fries for $5 coupon.

The food at BK is a great deal. I got a whopper taste test for $8. Thats a Whopper, Impossible Whopper, 2 fries and 2 small drinks for $8. At McDonalds, thats a single quarter pounder meal, granted it includes cheese.

the problem is the service at BK. The one near me is randomly closed at times. Today, they were closed for walk ins. These guys were open throughout the pandemic.

A few years ago, I was yelling at the drive thru at 4pm because no one was answering. I was genuinely worried they were being robbed or something. I went to the window, and the only worker came out to say "sorry, he was in the middle of a job interview".

It's solid food I have no issues with it, however the stores are usually pretty poorly run. Always less than ideal cleanliness lobby, at a local BK in my old city they recently had a bust for drugs being sold out of the store near a school zone. I order on the app well in advance and still have to wait the 10-15 minutes when I get there...where as Taco Bell for example the bag is ready to go. Always forgetting/missing items if i dont check etc.

The food is solid but it's not really a master of anything, but when they have amazing deals like this i will go, otherwise i just go elsewhere.

I don't do much fast food but when I do it is usually McDonald's McDouble daily deal, since the locations are much more prevalent and it's hard to beat $1 for a sandwich and a large soda. Plus they let me do bunless via the app, which is not a dealbreaker of course.

But to your question/point, every BK I've been to has been consistently dingy. I'd say the dirtiest chain, rivaled only by JITB and Taco Bell. That said, I'll be hitting them up on the way home, thanks!

Oh, and the app is the worst fast food one I've used as well.
