What's a Privacy Guard screen? And it sounds like a good enough idea
It's one of those things that may be great for some folks but annoying for others. The webcam monitors for anyone looking over your shoulder, and if it detects someone, it will dim the screen and narrow the viewing angle. Also if you have it set to recognize your face and you look away, it will blur the screen until it detects your face again. I almost got one but decided to go with a touch screen instead.
X13 G2 is out and is much better. Nothing to see here.
Available in USA now? A lot of Zen 3 based 5000u laptops are announced and out in different regions of the world's but none in USA at this point. Do you have that information about their availability? If not then don't just thread crap here

It's similar to the 3M privacy guard screens from years past. But with this built in version, the display quality and viewing angles suffer.

Yes, the screen is that bad and I'm not super picky. The rest of the machine is great.
