So this is 2.7% Hydrogen Peroxide with the rest inactive ingredients. The bottle is 32 oz.

You can get 3% Hydrogen Peroxide at Sams, 64 oz for a 1.78 regular price.

On sale, it's 3 times more expensive a less effective product. At regular price, almost 10x?
clicked thinking it was enzymatic cleaner..but it's just diluted peroxide? if that's the case, seems pretty expensive for what it is 🤐
Congrats on the new puppy!!! SmilieApplause

According to the listing:

"Ingredients: ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Hydrogen Peroxide 2.20%, OTHER INGREDIENTS:97.80%. CONTAINS NO PHOSPHORUS."

Interesting how little of the active ingredient it contains..

It's not just diluted peroxide. Manufacturers are only required to list certain hazardous materials. The rest of the stuff they can categorize as "inactive ingredients" even if those chemicals, enzymes, etc. do much of the work. In a sense it's similar to the way foods list "other spices" on the ingredients list instead of revealing the product's complete spice blend.

uh..i mean yeah i figured, but since you didn't, i googled and found their product page [cloroxpro.com] and safety data sheet [thecloroxcompany.com], which mentions (unsurprisingly) that the primary effective ingredient is just the peroxide, along with "surfactant and low pH [that] produce[s] a formula that cleans bio stains better than enzymes." sounds good enough, i suppose. the sds additionally lists isopropyl and sodium lauryl sulfate (presumably the surfactant). i'm not sure what the point of pointing out that ineffective ingredients might be proprietary, if they aren't doing any of the cleaning..

on a lighter note, they also have an "end-user" rebate valid through the end of june, when purchasing at least a case of these (and/or some related/similar products): https://www.cloroxpro.com/resourc...er-rebate/
