I think the benefit you get with the Kamado Joe is added accessories. I hear the K24 has temp issues also.

I did reading on the mods and it seems if you put gasket tape, that sorts out the temp issue. I'm mean 599 vs 1599 is a pretty steep jump. Plus the wife will probably kill me considering we already have a pellet grill and a kettle. Hmm, kamado or griddle 🤔

I have a pellet grill and a kettle and a griddle. I don't need this but I would go with what works your budget. But keep in mind... Buy once cry once.

I had 2 neighbors help me move mine. Yes, it took 3 full grown adults to move it. Really don't think we could have done it with just 2 people.
