They have 2 colors available: Black/Red and Blue/Green. The newly released Minion-themed version is not part of this sale.
My 8 yo has been using it (I just had the difference credited back to my card) and it's been great!

My kids run around everywhere and I'm fairly certain they're considerably more active than I am. On the other hand, I work a desk job and an activity tracker helps me be mindful of my exercise habits. I just don't see a real reason for this when kids are generally way more active then adults.

Oh, for sure. My 8 yo is pretty active, too, but he loves gadgets and this Fitbit motivates him to do even more. We compare steps counts, etc, and there are some cool animations on it that motivates him to "earn" extras with every 1,000 steps.
It's definitely not for everyone, and kids don't "need" it. However, if it makes them move more -regardless of their baseline level- I'm all for it.

Fair enough, I'm sure my kids would love to have something like this. the only issue is, If I got it for one then my other 2 would also want one...
