AMC to the moon!
Hold....
Thanks OP.

I've had AMC Stubs Premiere for years. I like it. I think it pays for itself after a few visits. Each year I would get a free large popcorn & drink for my birthday month. I typically buy my tickets via Fandango VIP Plus [fandango.com], since I can also earn $5 credits for FandangoNOW or future movie tickets, unless there's a promo that requires the purchase be made via Atom Tickets or AMC Theatres app/website. AMC Stubs Premiere waives the online processing fees on Atom Tickets & Fandango.com btw.

If you are an AMC Theatres stockholder, sign up for your free large popcorn too.

The waiving of online ticket fees is the best part.
Agreed. I just purchased a membership this weekend when I saw that I wouldn't have to pay the $2 per ticket convenience fee... Sucks that it just went on sale, but I'll get my money back in the next 12 months.

Yeah that sucks. I also noticed no AM showings at all around me, which I used to do all the time. It was cheap everyday and the best time to go enjoy a movie.
I just taking a guess but thinking maybe because of the pandemic that they can't afford to sell tickets at $5 bucks anymore. But you saving a few bucks is more important then a company trying to stay in business.

If you can't extend your membership via the link above, try their app. I was able to do it there.

I love the Stubs Premier for the shitty looks I get when I don't have to stand in line. lol not sure when I'll be going back to the movies (more depends on when anything of quality comes out) but I've got stubs into 2023 from a previous deal, might add another year or two on there.

Theaters need to die. It's a bad business model. I would much prefer to pay 20-30 bucks at home than go to a theater where someone will inevitably get up 17 times. Phone rings, hell with it I'll just answer it. It's a joke. It's too expensive for me to leave unsatisfied because the other patrons are assholes.
Theater just sounds like it isn't your thing, so don't go. I enjoy watching a monster size screen with chair shaking sound. It'd cost $10k to get that at home. To each their own

No shit captain obvious, of course that has something to do with it. Im just taking part in the conversation. What did I say or do that would imply me saving money is more important than AMC staying in business? People like you really irritate me. Do you work for AMC or something?

Note that this signs you up for automatic renewal. There doesn't seem to be a way to check out without enrolling and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off automatic renewal other than cancelling your membership entirely.

See if there's an Alamo Drafthouse theater by you, they are very strict with people on phones and the like.
