Game is definitely playable and I had a blast, but I really wish I had waited a bit for improvements.
Mass Effect. This game is shit

But this ain't it, unless maybe PS4 version gets a free upgrade to a PS5 enhanced version and they have said they will add support for keyboard/mouse (I haven't heard anything, but not really following this game's news).
1. People who know the game is trash.
2. People who bought the game and will defend their poor decision to the death.
not even worth a pirate.
1. People who are secure enough in their maturity that they can see the world in more than binary 1/0, FLAWLESS VICTORY!/EPIC FAIL! terms.
B. People who are you, Bub.
While it is inexcusable how CDPR lied about the state of the game on last-gen consoles and should never be trusted again for their shenanigans, the game is not the unmitigated disaster that Big Man Internet Tough Guy haters like you act it was. It just didn't live up to the insane hype they had masterfully built. They overpromised the moon and stars and delivered a game that was only playable on beefy PCs or next-gen consoles.
The breadth of story was impressive and this was only playing one of the story paths. Many of the side missions were also fascinating. The voice acting (except Keanu) is excellent and you really get into the relationships.) But it does a poor job explaining the hacking game (I had to watch YouTube videos to have it explained), some of the skill trees are really opaque, and I managed to kill off a major NPC in the very beginning because I didn't get what was going on.
I played it on Xbox Series X and only encountered a handful of bugs and one crash in over 100 hours of play. I think the Internet's need to dogpile to compensate their own insignificance has bad-rapped the game when it's a solid experience (on the appropriate hardware) even though it's not the "ZOMG! TEH GRATEST GAEM EVAR! 7/5!!!"
My experience was helped by waiting until the tenth patch before starting to play, but I think a lot of people's minds were made up before then.
I own an Xbox One X so hopefully it plays semi-ok
But despite this, Sony themselves still haven't put this back on their store. So I'm inclined to stay away from this on either platform unless Sony puts it back up or they significantly improve the Xbox experience, at least on the One X.
