Sure, but everybody's got them right? Or at least people have screwdrivers. They don't work all that well in drills anyway.
Does not matter to me. Any of the Craftsman or Dewalt bit sets under $10 is a deal. Just buy a bunch of them and mix and match to build your own perfect set. I like to have some drill bits in the mix too. I thought the Dewalt 27 piece kit at Lowes for $9.98 was the best deal. Somehow it did not get as many thumbs up.

Home Depot has a nice set under $10 too, but it is not much of a discount.

Just buy another one in 5 years at $4.75+tax
thats if they still mess around with the same design. they tend to play around and make these cases different. annoying when you got so many and then they change up the design.

The newest cases with clear covers have no rubber parts in them. They have black plastic bit holders that interchange between both brands. The cases also lock together. The outer dimensions of the case is about the same, however the shape of the corners and ribs are completely different. The Craftsman has four hinge pins, and the Dewalt has three hinge pins. The bits inside are different.
uh oh spaghettio's im so glad i didn't buy either set. if this hits under $5 that's when you buy. otherwise total bummer they don't even match up!. gotta love black n decka

5 years later, we may not be able to benefit from slave labor Wink Besides, $1 a year for the convenience of being a hero [ i.e., helping urself/people fix something at a moment's notice ] is not a debilitating investment.
the most annoying thing is the design change then its like you got to start over again

This style case is the best one I have ever come across (Craftsman and Dewalt) the bits are easy to remove and the clear lids are very nice. Weather or not they lock to each other does not matter,(this current design does lock together) they will always fit in the tool drawer just fine. Do you see that one Milwaukee case in there? I really hate it, getting the bits out is like pulling teeth! You will need a needle nose pliers to go with that case.

Oh, by the way, this set listed here is under $5 right now. What a deal.

That Lowes one is nice. It's my favorite of these recent bit kits too.
