Awesome, thanks! That P238 is an amazing impact driver for for $38... I didn't NEED a second one, but since I was already paying $7 for shipping, I went ahead and tossed another in... maybe a house warming gift for a friend Wink

Any recommendations for bits? So far it's been great for snapping my Philips bits. I snapped 2 bits installing 10 screws for some fence hinges. From what I've read that's just how things play out with Phillips bits, whether rated for impact or not. I guess next time I'll use my own screws, but I couldn't find any that matched the color of the hinges as well.

Buy higher quality impact rated bits from Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, etc. I haven't had any bits snap before the heads rounded out and needed replacing

This is a good deal for a lot of high quality impact rated bits: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../315649185

I always drill pilot holes for hinge screws. The problem with hinges is that if the screw deflects while going through the wood, it will start binding against the thick steel hinge. At that point something has to give. Not sure if this is what's happening for you, but if it is, drilling pilot holes will help.

Yes. They seem to have abruptly ended the "father's day sale" a week before father's day. I've reported the deal expired.
