Personally, I need of one that will also shampoo furniture, carpeted stair faces and auto's that are typically much heavier units.
The claims for Bissell Oxy-based formula was interesting.... I have not found anything that will completely remove coffee stains from white, as in white carpet, white shirts, etc.

The plastic grill or guard at the suction area comes right off if you pull it from the top. This can get clogged up with dirt & pet hair.

If you have friends with college age dependents, they probably have their military ID until age 22-23 and can get into the PX too. Or get an active military / retired mistress.
