These are arriving today for me. Will provide feedback once I have. I'm hopeful I can have working Mic on Nintendo Switch. Reviews and Q&A are spotty on if it works. An earlier SlickDeals post suggested they had it work with USB straight to dock and headphones to jack. We sha'll see.
My kids have these. We went through several cheapo headsets in early pandemic, and this one was by far the winner. Paid a more than twice this, and it was still a good deal.
I ended up getting two of them. One for me and one for my kid. They're pretty good. Comfortable on the ears, good sound quality (I'm not an audiophile by any means, but they do the job), and the accessories it comes with work well to make it compatible with whatever.
The microphone boom is cheap feeling and doesn't move, it just bends.
Overall it's easily worth $10. I'd have felt fine paying $20.
I ordered this model April 13th at $29.99 with a $15 and $3 coupon, getting it for $11.99 before tax. The adjustable metal overband acts as a spring to get a solid seal on the ears, while the fabric strap rests comfortably on your head.
The audio jack sets up the sound, and plugging in the USB turns on the red LEDs on the outside of the headphones, and presumably powers features like noise cancellation. I've used this a lot in the last two months as my primary headset, and the braided cables make it feel durable.
The original price is showing $32.99 for me, bringing the price to $12.99 with a $20 coupon.
