Fwiw. I have an LG 70 inch ips and I love it though the blacks aren't great. I wouldn't trade the LG smart interface for anything.

Personally, I deal with commercial displays so I'm asking for fellow-consumer feedback.
Would it be worth spending the extra coin for a full array over this? ..or would this suffice for movies and gaming?
Both are 82", VA, 4k, 2020 models from what I can tell. Samsung has 2 fewer HDMI ports, limited to 60 Hz and no Ethernet, so think the extra $50 for LG is worth it, agreed? How does LG vs Samsung smart interface compare?

Edit: OOPS! Missed the smart interface question. I prefer WebOs over Tizen, especially on these budget models; it just seems to run a bit smoother.
