I think their classic stuff is still decent, some of the designer stuff gets questionable. I'd always have to say their material have gone down hill but so has everything else but the material still retains incredibly soft. Seeing "softAF" I wonder if that was intentional.

WRONG. Abercrombie is IN again. I've made quite a bit of tendies this year with my ANF shares. Definitely buying some stuff to pay some of it back.

I have some vests / jackets as well which are HEAVY, tags still on and never wore as
I am now only wearing down jackets, and cannot bear the weight of those AF ones

I bought a couple of things from Abercrombie when they had a similar sale a couple of years ago. They were surprisingly solid and good quality. Maybe they improve their reputation and manage to fit into the Uniqlo niche. I'm not too sure, but I wouldn't write off their clothes based on their tacky designs from their heyday.
