All these price increases are due to supply chain issues and add to that higher then normal demand. Our current situation is temporary, prices will stabilize back to pre covid. It should take about that long to fix the issues. IMO, this applies to everything except real estate.

What incentive is there to lower prices to pre-COVID-19? Since January people are paying more for everything from gas to groceries. This is the new normal - get used to it.

also due to chip shortages that are supposably going to last into next year
