Assassin's Creed is one of those games where I'll sit through for 10 sessions, finish the game and never want to touch another one for at least the few years. I finished this one a few years ago and while the story was good (main character had impeccable voice acting), it felt super fatiguing. I got the same feeling with Black Flag and Unity as well.

I've played all the AC games except for ACIII and Valhalla, and although I was a huge fan of the earlier games, I have to say that Origins and Odyssey were fantastic. It makes more sense to treat them as worlds to dive in and out of rather than missions to complete. That being said, I actually liked Origins better than Odyssey, and the DLC was great, too. What stressed me out about Odyssey were the choices, rather than the scale!

Yes, it is PC. Also, the Standard Edition is $12 so if you find a game for $3+ and use the code for $10 off it would be $5+. Assassin's Creed Odyssey Standard Edition is $5 after $10 off coupon.

Etzio was the best.

I'd rank them unity, syndicate then ezio. Origins and valhalla are markedly different then those games, they've mostly turned into hack and slash with very little stealth anymore.

I've played ACII thru Origins, and I agree with you. The thought of playing Odyssey almost overwhelms me, given how much I've heard how sprawling it is.

Just finished the two DLCs. I thought some of it was confusing because the way some of the DLC story goes it assumes the player already completed the main game story
