Thanks Op.. picked up one while out on an errand earlier. My trusted Halo thumb died recently and it is too risky for me to step foot in a Microcenter for a small purchase... I tend to leave with large ones.

I use these to load a few night time fav movies/songs for the kiddos and plug into their tv. Super cheap and effective entertainment. Not too worried about burning through it cuz it's cheap.
It's more misleading because usb 3 connectors are supposed to be colored blue to differentiate from usb 2. This one is usb 2 but the connector is blue.

Very misleading. Makes me want to avoid it all together on principle.
64GB in a thumb drive for $6... I will never forget buying my first 1GB hard drive for $200. I thought "what am i going to do with all of this space"... LOL!
I am not sure if people sit in front of the computer while copying files! I just plug the drive to copy the files (mainly home photo/video/music etc) and come back after a while (sometimes next morning if it is later in the night)! For me, space and price matter more for use at HOME. However, I will obviously take USB 3.0 over USB 2.0 if the price is same/similar !!

Might be useful for music in your car which you'd copy once to this drive, but I'd stay away for using this to transfer files regularly.
Agreed how is this FP? I think this is close to the going rate even at Walmart for a 2.0 drive. This wouldn't even be that slick at 3.0 honestly
edit: sorry not FP....it was in my For You section, my bad.
