Is there much of a music sound quality (rock,country, pop) difference between the 263 or 253 when pairing both with a sub?

Man. Wish I could easily unload my R253s and pick these up. But I doubt there is going to be a huge difference considering I have a big sub. Would prefer them to match the RC263 center and R162 Surrounds though.

I have the 263s and no sub, and they take over nicely. I'm sure I'd hear more of a difference if I actually bought a sub, but it's not really noticeable.
If you already have a sub, you might be able to get away with just the 253s. That being said, the 263s sound absolutely amazing. If you're hesitating, I'd say go ahead and pick them up now while they're on sale.

How do these compare to the Klipsch R-625FA Tower Speakers? One obvious difference is atmos speakers within the Klipsch. TIA!

I picked up these speakers during last year's sale (June 8 for $190/each). They replaced a pair of 162's which had just replaced a pair of BIC DV62si bookshelves. I love these 263s. I feel that having a dedicated mid-range and the 6.5" drivers really makes these speakers shine. If your budget is around $200/each, then you really can't go wrong with these. I have these matched with the 263C and I couldn't be happier with the sound.

I got this a few months ago for the same price. I'm not an audiophile by any means and just use them with a matching center and klipsch sub for movies.

I've absolutely loved them, they sound good and have good range.
