When interest rates are low like now, yes you can easily beat free financing. Like throwing in an All State protection plan that would cost you hundreds if you bought it from BB (4yr extended warranty with citi card).

BB will service on-site and you don't have to go through the manufacture, even in the first year. Personally, it's worth premium for me. If people are content with Costco warranties… then more power to you.

When interest rates are low like now, yes you can easily beat free financing. Like throwing in an All State protection plan that would cost you hundreds if you bought it from BB (4yr extended warranty with citi card).

Comparing Allstate protection and BB protection is like apples and oranges. Depends on what you're looking for. If a free $100 cut-rate warranty that doesn't kick in until after the manufacture warranty tickles your fancy, then go for it lol.

identical panel. this is more about aesthetics.

for me, i'd rather have the picture frame look for $200 more. others won't like it or the inability to tilt the TV from a seated viewing position.

in what scenario would you need a warranty that kicks in before the manufacturers warranty ends?

Best Buy has been very easy to deal with for warranty purposes for me, including refunding full price when the warranty was almost up and the item broke. If Allstate warranty is anything like their insurance, I wouldn't want to deal with them. My last claim with them was a nightmare. I couldn't find anybody to do the home repairs for what they were giving me. Their adjuster told me "there was no way in hell they were giving me another penny".

It looks like the BB GC is no longer being added to the card for the GX. I am going to try to go in to BB Brick and mortar to see if they will honor the previously showing $350 GC.

additional info: couldn't get the $350 additional credit towards the GX but I just figured I could wait a little bit for the LG C1 to come down a little bit more in price.

Not at all. Both can be wall-mounted, but the GX would be practically flush with the wall while the CX would not be.
