Walmart [walmart.com] has 15.6" Touch Acer 315 Celeron 4GB/64GB Chromebook for $269
Free Shipping or Store Pick-Up YMMV

Specs:
  • 2020 Model | Chromebook 315 Updates 'til Jun 2026
  • Acer 315 15.6" Full HD IPS Touchscreen Display
  • Intel Celeron N4020
  • 4GB LPDDR4
  • 64GB eMMC
  • Gigabit WiFi
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • Chrome OS
  • CB315-3HT-C5D3
  • Non-Glare Screen
  • Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 pixels
  • Number pad
  • Battery life 12.5 Hours
  • Intel® Celeron® N4020
Two USB Type-C ports for ultra-quick data transfer, video streaming, and battery charging. The reversible USB 3.1 Type-C™ connector is the same at both ends and on both sides, so it's easy to attach. USB 3.1 is 10 times faster than USB 2.0. In addition to the two USB 3.1 Type-C ports, there are also two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, and a microSD slot for extra storage.

Personal Note:
  • I was looking for another Chromebook that had 64 GB instead of 32. I had Walmart GC's to use, came across this and am so glad I purchased it. I love it because it has the side number pad, touchscreen or mouse use and non glare 1920x1080 screen res. and is completely silent.

What the description doesn't say is, it will come with an Acer zippered padded carrying case like the picture below, nice surprise!:
(or I can take some pictures, just ask)

How does this compare to the Costco Chromebook that will go on sell soon?

Meh to touchscreen on any device that's not convertible (which this would be kinda big for). Chromebook listings should be required to always include OS upgrade end dates, too.

It was just on the flyer. Part of why I asked in case anyone knew more about it.

I don't know the resolution for this specific model, but another one [acer.com] from the same series has a 720p webcam.

But that webcam is the most crappy webcam I have ever seen -- image is blurry as hell. Just imagine everything goes through a low pass filter. And speaker volume is small, screen is dim and color is way off -- I have a $60 1080p monitor and that is much better when placed side by side. (Since then I know "IPS" hardly means anything, that's just a small part of display quality.) However, as a $220 functional laptop, I'll accept it all.
