The 2020 Saucony Endorphin line shoes are on sale since the 2021 versions have been released.

These are well regarded high end max cushion running shoes. The Speed has a nylon plate and the Pro has a carbon plate. They are for the semi-serious to serious runner as the plates in them make them a bit stiff at lower speeds. I wouldn't recommend them for walking around the mall.

The Saucony website and other online shoe sites have these shoes at a discount. There is a coupon that you can apply at the Saucony site for an extra 25% off the discounted price.

Coupon code: FM9-OS1-JJR-569

I have no idea how long the coupon is valid for and the popular sizes for these shoes probably won't last long.

Speed regular price $160. Sale price $120 - 25% off coupon = $90
Pro regular price $200. Sale price $150 - 25% off coupon = $113

I don't want to get into a Brand X is better than Brand Y war. I just want to say that these Sauconys are plated shoes. After a quick look, I don't see any Hoka plated shoes on sale. I want people to realize what we're comparing here.
If you use code FM9-OS1-JJR-569 at Saucony's website it gives you an additional 25% off. Just snagged the Speeds for $90. Makes the Pro $113 and the Shift $79.

Re: people asking about cushion, the Speed is a workout day or race day shoe, not really a cushioned daily trainer, and it excels in that capacity, probably the best workout shoe out there in my opinion. Lightweight, great foam, and my current pair are still pretty responsive after 175 miles, people online typically say they get at least 300–400, depending on their size/usage. Shift is comparable to a Hoka Clifton, and the Pro is like a lower-stack Vaporfly.
Just crushed my half goal in the pro Sunday

Due to the plate being firmer, Pros also have more heel stability than the Speeds. At higher paces, it won't matter in the Speeds.
Thanks, makes sense with the carbon fiber, will keep it in mind.

Just curious as to how much one would increase time per mile in these. Currently in Hoka Clifton and Hoka Rincon. Have the Ghost and New Balance 1080K10 also but honestly my times are always fastest in in Clinton's. Not that I am super fast but curious as to how much faster results people are experiencing.

I do feel easier when putting on my zoom fly fk. Some reported their pace going up 30s per mile.

Someone already linked this, but I will link it again. https://www.believeintherun.com/b...hoes-2021/ [believeintherun.com]

He does not review the Pro, but he does review the Speed & he says it works. My feet are a size 10.5 4E, but I wear a 11 2E because no one makes good 4E running shoes. Plus, I like having the extra toe room. Based on the article above, I ordered a pair of the Pros in 11 & 11.5. I honestly don't know if they will work for me, but I want to try (especially at this price) and no one will ever make a wide width plated shoe. If they don't fit, I will just return them.
Follow up. Got my Pros in 11 & 11.5 today. My feet are 10.5 4E. Neither of them will work. No matter how I tried to lace them, they are still far too narrow for my foot. If you have one of those "wide-ish" feet, they may work, but if you are a sasquatch, these are not going to work for any run of any distance. I am returning both pair & hoping that Saucony, Nike, or some other brand makes plated shoes for wide feet eventually.

I ended up buying another pair of the Shifts (already had a pair), a pair of Speeds, and a pair of Pro's. Hiding the boxes from my husband. Smilie I had a 2.5 mile speed work run last night and ran in the Pro's. They felt great. Thanks again!

Sounds like we got some runners on here. Advice? I've been running the Hoooka One One Bondi for 5 years because of two factors: 1. Wide sizes for toebox and 2. Forefoot (must be forefoot!) cushioning. Both are necessary because i am a forefoot striker and have had mortons neuromas on both feet.

But the latest Hookas blow...they changed the cushioning or something on the forefoot that makes them run like other, normal shoes.

Is there ANY shoe you guys know of with Max forefoot cushioning AND wide sizes or a very wide toebox?

Looks like a Saucony jazz with an old ladies orthopedic soul attached
Couldn't they make them look less like a medical device
these shoes have more soul than Don Cornelius
but I bet he wouldn't be caught dead in these

I run about 300km (200miles) per month, largely paved roads, and use both Saucony Endorphin Pros and Hooka Bondi 7s. I'm not a forefoot striker though. Endorphin Pros are my go-to shoes. I like that they're feather light, perfect cushioning, stable. Compared to them, Bondi is very heavy. Now I ordered two more pairs of Pros, that'll last me until the end of the year and, hopefully, a bit longer.

Ran in mine first time this morning. My recent PR (since Covid cancelled all races… nothing to train fro) on a 3.7 mile loop has been 7:30/mi, and ran it in a 7:08/mi this morning.
