Home Depot has the Milwaukee M12 FUEL 3/8 in stubby plus 2 batteries and charger with a free tool (e.g. hacksawzall) for $229 allowing the stubby and both batteries and charger to be hackable to $159.
Pretty good price for stubby with 2 batteries and a charger. Also the sawzall for $70 is a pretty good deal if you just need that.

Really good price if you hack it. Bought it for the same price, but came only with a 4.0ah battery. So this is better.

you return the free item, or item, to get the other item at a discount. So with this deal you buy the impact, get the free item, then return the free item to get the impact at $159.

This is the 3/8 impact not the 1/4 one.

Ordered this kit yesterday actually. Cycled thru the 4 or 5 free tools to see which lowered the stubby kit price the most. Went with the saw, but solder iron was same $159 price.

And there are no issues returning the additional tool? Or just return it for store credit? Since I assume the receipt will show no value for the saw.

Two different tools for two different purposes. This tool is for where power is needed, the ratchet really just use in place of a normal ratchet. I have both and surprisingly use both a LOT

i.e. changing suspension or taking wheels off the car vs ratcheting off a normal nut.
