I've had this and it's delicious, but not like a cappuccino in the slightest. Tastes like a sugary hot chocolate with hints of coffee flavor. It's very sweet and tasty, but if you think it'll resemble a real capp you'll be very let down.

I've had this and it's delicious, but not like a cappuccino in the slightest. Tastes like a sugary hot chocolate with hints of coffee flavor. It's very sweet and tasty, but if you think it'll resemble a real capp you'll be very let down.

We have this. As others have said it's very sweet. And not like coffee. Think of it as vanilla flavored hot chocolate. It's not a bad flavor but personally I don't like my beverages sweet (especially coffee) and I was disappointed by how sweet this was.

Drank this stuff daily for years. Who doesn't like hot sugar drinks with vanilla?
Around 2007, decide that 200 extra liquid calories daily doesn't doing me any good and stopped. Also stopped with daily caffeine intake (not anti-caffeine at all), just noticed I had withdrawal on vacations. I miss it, but perhaps only once a week would be a reasonable compromise?

Need to look at my other lists for stuff to order and perhaps get a slow-shipping coupon.

In for 2. Couldn't resist after years - perhaps a decade - of not having any.

I don't buy their product EVER anymore. I used to swear by it. Recently I got it from several different places and I had to throw it all away because it had a really nasty chemical smell. I called the company several times. No corporate headquarters exists. They have a processing plant (not owned by them) that makes the product and some people working from their homes for "customer service" Told I would get a call back - Nope, never heard a peep. No mas! Oh and btw, the $6 price tag is bogus, always sells for $3 give or take,

So true, and so overpriced for sugar, instant coffee, and dehydrated dairy product.

Correction: This Hills Bros junk has more partially hydrogenated oil and corn syrup solids than dehydrated dairy product. No wonder it tastes and feels so bad. Basically dehyrdated margarine with sugar and corn syrup. vomit

Well, that's sad. Buy this regularly and haven't encountered a problem yet, but I do think the recipe declined years ago. I remember having a lot of cappuccino-y mix options that really tasted like coffee. Don't recall the brand names --they were in packets, canisters, and hot drink machines at gas stations and some restaurants.

Agree with others that this is more of a sugary hot chocolate beverage. Starbucks has a fresh espresso kick even in the sugary frapps, but this is like the Maxwell House International Delight coffee mixes. Ok as a coffee creamer.

It does have quite a bit of short term caffeine jolt (and sugar crash). I kind of like it as I don't like the malty smell of hot chocolate that much.
