As lovely as steelbooks are and in spite of several GKids releases having a few new extra features over the older Disney releases which I have, I can't justify/afford to rebuy them except for the few that had transfer or subtitle issues. And those few I already got the GKids version a few sales ago. I'd never rebuy anything just for the case.

For people who somehow don't already own these, they should certainly buy them if they like anime. I haven't seen the Earwig and the Witch yet, but I'll assume it's decent.

As lovely as steelbooks are and in spite of several GKids releases having a few new extra features over the older Disney releases which I have, I can't justify/afford to rebuy them except for the few that had transfer or subtitle issues. And those few I already got the GKids version a few sales ago. I'd never rebuy anything just for the case.

For people who somehow don't already own these, they should certainly buy them if they like anime. I haven't seen the Earwig and the Witch yet, but I'll assume it's decent.

I love studio ghibli films as well and have a decent collection, but the earwig one is on HBOmax and I believe is directed by Goro. I tried but couldn't get through the movie, it was bad imo.

Nice deal and thanks. Ordered three. Only concern is the spread of delivery dates for each title I ordered. If all are shipped separately they're small enough to ship in a bubble mailer (*usually). Steelbooks in a bubble mailer don't mix. We shall see.

As counterpoint, while Earwig ends abruptly, what's there is fairly enjoyable for the runtime. Watched it with three other people and laughed a lot and enjoyed it, only wishing for a more complete ending.

You don't happen to know which Disney releases has dubtitle issues, do you? I think Kiki's Delivery Service was one IIRC.

In addition to these, most of the Shout Factory releases have clippable coupons too.
Although Amazon is running a 3 for 2 promotion, those are not part of that deal.

Bro I'm on fence about Totoro bc I only have DVD, seems like best bet is the Totoro+audio CD rather than an off color steelbook.
