I stumbled upon this deal as I was looking for percale sheets and thought it was worth sharing. This price is only good for the California King set in the color Alabaster, but for 100% cotton organic sheets, this is a fantastic price. Shipping is free.

they were also saying a cal king won't fit on a regular king, which i believe is true because cal king is longer and less wide while regular king is the opposite.

Cal king I believe are 4-6 inches shorter width and 4-6 inches longer length.

Standard queen bed dimensions are 60 inches by 80 inches
A king bed measures up to 75 inches wide and 80 inches long
California king bed is 72 inches wide and 84 inches long

You should be able to use California King sheet on a deep Queen mattress no problem.

How are these compared to the Costco ones?

Edit: Ah just checked these only has 2 pillowcases, while we use 4. Would be a pain to grab 2 mismatched pillow cases from another set.

Huh, interesting. I always just assumed a Cal King would be the biggest, both length and width wise, but you're right. A King size mattress is 76X80, and a Cal King is 72X84.

Looks like my next bed should be a King size, rather than a Cal King, to try to fit me and my husband, plus the cats. (Currently on our 60" Queen, the cats probably take up 30"or so, leaving my husband and I to try to split the other 30.. Not cool.)

Are percale sheets crispy or soft? I love me some nice crisp sheets, but all I find in the stores are soft ones. I'd hate to spend $70 on a pair of soft sheets.

i use a cal king but i turn it sideways and basically build a small six inch shelf at the head of the bed, at bed height. this gives me max width (with the bed sideways) but also keeps my feet from hanging off. i've found that my head on pillows isnt bothered by the shelf, and it's not even like my head is directly above it, but this keeps my feet from hanging off. for me it's about getting max width to fit all the people/dogs.. depends on your sizes tho, if neither of you are tall the shelf isnt necessary

In case anyone refers back to the comments here, I was very disappointed in these sheets. Thin, crinkly and not very soft. I would not buy them again.
