FYI it's cheaper to buy from WalMart if you are charged sales tax because the tax is applied to the full price on Amazon before the coupon amount is deducted. If you add a protection plan the whole gross amount is taxed on Amazon as well, while there is no additional tax with WalMart for adding a protection plan -- which WalMart has for $34 for 3 years instead of $49.99 with Amazon.

Amazon total w/ 3-year plan - $378.58

Curious if this will go even lower for prime day. Grabbed one last time it was this price and another one yesterday when I saw the price drop. I was a bit hesitant to buy given prime day, but I doubt it can go much cheaper given previous similar pricing for the prior version S4. Great vacuum.

Has anyone compared this to the wyze vac for carpet? I have about 1300 Sq ft of carpet in the basement that I want one for.

Yeah this dude has the best robo vac reviews... he is pretty high on Roborock (primarily this model and the 6 maxV). The Roborock brushes work really well on pet hair.

Think I'm gonna get one and do no rush shipping... can always cancel an order if there is a better deal on Prime Day.

Seems like he thinks the s4 and wyze are pretty similar. Differences were battery size and cleaning hair out of the brush. Doesn't seem like that is worth an extra $100 unless you have pets, although the vid I watched was s4 (not s4 max, not sure on differences)

Bought the s45max, it was going for $309 also. Going from an older model of roomba to this. Looking forward to seeing what the newer technology has to offer. I won't miss putting those boundary sensors or chairs around to keep it vacuuming in just one room 😛

Romba is good. I have older model Romba. S6 definitely really good at not missing a spot. Maybe newer generation romba is better.

Roomba still does not have lidar? That alone is why I wouldn't buy it.. if they have added that since then it is a decent vac
