Put it another way, battery lasts for 7 hours without the charging case (??) or 28 hours with the charging case. That's why I'm confused.
That is correct. Earbuds by themselves last 7 hours. The included case has battery in it, which you charged along with the earbuds. If your earbuds need to charge, you put them in the case which gives you 28 hours with of play times.

The case has a battery that charges the earbuds. I assume it will charge them 3 times. 4 x 7 hours=28 hours
The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to (if you've never had a pair before) is you have to connect and then disconnect if you want to switch between things (computer to phone). A bit annoying, but I guess that's how they all work. Easier with headphones you can just plug into different things.
I especially don't like the Airpods design (with the stem). I'd much prefer just a little nub like we are seeing more and more of.
$20 seems like a fine price, and I like Anker...but I think this is a pass for me.

The internal batteries in the earbuds lasts 7 hours. Then you can recharge them by placing them into the charging case which has its own battery, which can recharge them to reach a total of 28 hours before the case's battery is also depleted, at which time you need to plug it into an external power source to recharge the earbuds and case.

agreed, sorry totally agreed, 100% agreed, I am frustrated, and the worst part is that you need to remove the bud from one side of the ear and use phone, look very funny and embarrassing.
You can't have both of these in for phone calls even?
Yes. Then you will have some folks telling you they've never had issues of these falling off.

Fit: Even the smallest tip they have is still too big for me and it still falls out of my ears, so exercise/vibration (like mowing etc) with these are not recommended. I can walk around with them but constantly felt like they were going to fall. I also felt like they had an earplug feeling when I push them in my ears.
Sound: They're actually pretty good for 20 dollars. Not amazing but i like it and the passive ANC is still good. You will still hear noise btw, just that it blocks some of it out.
Call quality: Good. I've tested them at Trader Joe's, Costco, Safeway etc. with people around me and my gf said she still hears me clearly (with some noise disturbance).
