Do you mind letting me know how that works? Do I just go to the site and link it Lenovo from there? Can I then use it as cash or something?
if you are talking about the latter then you can just sign up then search for Lenovo and click through their link for the 6%. The cash back will show up like a month or so later then you can request it to be paid in a check or into your paypal account I think

No trick, based on the price, applied the given code (as per this deal), then you hit it with teacher/military discount. Then my US bank cash+ credit card which give you back 5% at electronics store.
So after Lenovo's discount it was down to about $599? then another 5% on top of that ~$570
BTW, I just realized that if you go through perksatwork, you can get it for $579, and if you use the correct credit card, can you get it down to as low as $550.
I think I will finally jump on this when it become available again.
Can't speak for the other guy, but if you go to perksatwork and sign up using your company discount (your company will have to be affiliated with them). Then you can link to Lenovo from there.
I was able to reproduce the price by going through perksatwork

Werid that Lenovo still lets you add even though it's out of stock...
