Deal Details
Found a decent custom prebuilt gaming PC with a 3080 gpu for $2144.15 after 5% NORUSH promo code plus tax.

CPU: Intel Core i7 11700KF
HDD: 500 GB WD Blue SN550 M2 SSD
MOBO: Asus Prime Z590-V ATX
GPU: RTX 3080 (brand may vary)
RAM: 16 GB 3200mhz ADATA XPG A1
CASE: DEEP MATREXX 55
COOLING: Default Fans and 360mm AIO Liquid Cooling RGB
FREEBIE_MB: Dual Band 802.11ac AC600 Wireless USB Network Adapter
POWERSUPPLY: 750 Watts - Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 Series 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Ultra Quiet Full Modular Power Supply

I say decent due to GPU shortage and I think this would be close to cost. However, shipping may take a while - ETA is August, so 2 months out.

You can get a cheaper build if you swapped out the CPU for an i5, lower ram, lower cooling etc. I just thought this build was ideal for cooling/power/performance.

My link will have the original listing and you will have to manually swap out the parts yourself.

Cyberpower does not charge your card until assembly has begun.

Shipping date is too far out. Prices have actually dropped in the last three weeks, HP has dumped several on the shopping networks and just ended a pretty good sale telling me they have plenty. HDD for me would be way too small particularly laying out that kind of money. the Intel Core i7 11700KF is a good processor but certainly not outstanding. It just doesn't seem like a SD to me.

Thumbs down is likely due to the shipping (2 months out) but GPUs just arent available even today. Also, CyberpowerPC does not charge the card until your parts are in. I thought it was a deal worth posting but i guess not

I have yet to see a prebuilt at this price point in quite some time. Any links? HP Omens will require you to replace the case + cooling as HP and Dell prebuilts are notorious for bad thermals. I think HP also uses proprietary 3080s...but not 100% sure on that. As for the HDD, there is 1tb options for a few bucks more - i just went with the cheapest selection

My point was not to compare HP as a brand you notice I didn't compare price. What I do not see happening is a problem getting these chips or components as we move forward and in fact there may now be a little bit of a glut. It isn't that it is a bad deal, more of August is too far from now to know that it won't be less as the trend now is. If someone has been specifically looking for that set up they'll know it isn't what I would call and SD deal at that price, but it isn't bad either.

I think it was a decent deal beyond the shipping. I keep hearing "it won't be a problem soon" but all I've seen is prices increasing.

That's going to be the case right now regardless so not sure why it's relevant.

People are probably unhappy about ship date and possibility of LHR. That and prices dropping off. Not the worst but gpus losing their shine.

Good deal in my view. 3080 builds are generally a lot more, and I'm losing count of my newegg shuffle losses trying to score a card. The recent ant-online 30 series bundles that were available for all of about 5 minutes a few days ago were a much worse value than this. I'd pay the extra $50 for the Lian case though. Looks so nice.
