Yeah, in mine already too. I am almost middle aged now and the idea of so many games offered for free is crazy. Closest thing they had were demo discs for the original PlayStation that let you play demos of different games that you could get with a game magazine. I remember my friends and I playing the original Tony hawk demo for hours on end....then when the game came out playing that forever.

LoL, nostalgia. I don't even like playing games anymore but my kids do. I remember the fun times I had as a kid playing games but if I try to repeat it now the feeling isn't the same. Nostalgia unfortunately is less about the experience and more about the feelings at the time that those experiences brought up.

Good point IHMBTH. I remembered redeeming a title from SEGA in the past, but wasn't sure if it was this one. Anyhow, it told me I already had the title on my Steam account.

Have you been paying attention to all the epic free games and all the other freebies? My library is absolutely huge, well for me, but some guys on here have like 5000 games. lol.

I haven't played a lot of the more recent games either, having been out of interest in video games for a long while, but based on some reviews, I think I'm missing out. If you want a really simple but addictive co-op game, grab the now free Overcooked 2 game over at epic. Fair warning - it might start a fight in your household.

I have gotten every free game on epic since they started giving them out. They are all for my son's account. He has played maybe one or two lol.

Smart. There are some good ones in there. I know what it feels to kind of grow out of it, but I just bought Burnout Paradise for $5 for my PC (already had it for the 360), and had a blast for 30 minutes. I'm hoping my nephews will have time to play online this summer - that's when it truly gets fun. NBA2K was one of our trash talk games, so that title was a great freebie. I still need to go back and play games like Portal 2. Lots of hits I missed while being out of the loop.

Oops I already had it.
Nights is a really fun game, and was possibly the only good reason to have a Saturn back in the day.

I sold Saturn versions of these for so much money on eBay back when SEGA of America sold its warehouses of stuff to employees for super cheap in 2001. Picked up this, Shining Force 3, Saturn Bomberman, Panzer Dragoon, etc for $1 each

Don't much care for the game but good memories

I am not sure how they are able to afford those AAA games for free. If they had IM system in their platform as flexible as steams I would be all over it. Right now trying to add and communicate with a friend is a nightmare in epic launcher. They should probably invest more in that department.

This soundtrack is so good. I only recently found out there are extended versions of each song that I don't ever remember hearing during actual gameplay. They're on Spotify!

While all of this is akin to digital hoarding it really is great! This combined with cheap/free gamepass means I won't be making many game purchases for a while.

I consider the biggest mistake I ever made in my life to be walking out of the store in 1997 with a sega Saturn because they were sold out of the Sony PlayStation I tried to go in and buy....😭
