Apple doesn't ask for any proof. Literally ANYONE can get the discount. The fine print, if I recall, even says parents can buy for themselves.

Can I ask why you didn't wait for the redesign coming 3rd quarter. Not sure it's worth free AirPods or the updated computer

How old is your kid, and what will it be used for? Most likely, the 128gb, 10" model is usually good for elementary-aged kids (less than $400). There are tons of protective cases available for cheap if you are worried about it breaking.

Ten of $100 apple gift cards to get 10% discount. I tried adding $500 gift card to card and it only adds $10 in Target Promotional Gift Card. If you have red card you get like 5% on top off so it's like $95.50 for $100 Apple Gift Card and $10 Target Promo Gift card.

My friend is looking to buy a M1 Macbook Air.
