I'm looking for a Evo laptop. How does this compare to Asus zenbook 13, in terms of built quality? Specs are the same. I was about to buy the zenbook 13 for $1099 before I saw this deal.

One of the big pros of this unit is the price and the extra free warranty if have the Costco visa.

Haven't used both so can't comment on build quality but $300 is a big difference and I don't think any (subjective) build quality perceptions could justify that.
Warranty and screen resolution are much better in this deal as well

I should add that I'm was looking for something for work using a work from home stipend. So cost isn't a necesarily a huge deal. Whatever savings I get though can be applied to accessories. I was going to get a thunderbolt 4 dock (data, video, power all in one cable) to go with it the evo laptop.

I have the 8 Gb version of this laptop, coming from a previous zenbook, its runs cooler, quieter, the screen brightness and color is really good too. Only minor complaint is the bottom bezel is a bit deep adding to the overall depth of the computer, but no issues so far after a month of use. Def think its worth the price!

How is the screen and build quality of this one?
Rest of specs look very much what I want.

I got an Ideapad s540 at costco for a recent grad for $500 using the $50 off coupon. Wondering if this one (more memory and the 11th gen processor) is enough of an upgrade to justify another $300. I'm kind of thinking not (liberal arts major who doesn't PC game). Probably better off holding onto the $300 and putting it toward an upgrade in 2+ years.

any use this with a thunderbolt 4 dock? Power, display, and data ports all go through dock. But will laptop will not boot up when powered through the dock. I can power by the barrel jack, or usb-pd wall charger, and boots up just fine.
