and yeah the 2021 model isn't as good as the 2020 model but in this price point you won't see the difference. the snapdragon 460 is a pretty solid budget soc. definitely better than mediatek
if go with the 2021 model though

if you already have cricket and want to upgrade it's 50 dollars plus a 25 upgrade fee making the phone 75 dollars.
this is 50 dollars and no upgrade fee which is why i picked this up.
Also, is this the 2021 model, which is not as good as 2020 model?
