Does anyone have this on a tv bigger than the specified 55-65" tv? I wanted to get this for my 82" tv. Wondering if it would still look good.

Yeah only thing stopping me is I have a 75 inch. That's what he said?

What is the difference between this one that is $11 https://www.amazon.com/Govee-Back...B08LVPWQQP
That is just the LED strip. No camera for automatic color adjustment for what is being displayed.

how does this compare to the true Ambilight by Philips? (not HUE)

I think those systems (Philips, the open source alternatives) don't operate via camera but process the HDMI input to get the color matching, which is probably a lot more elegant and accurate. It's obviously much more expensive though since it requires an HDMI hub.

On the fence here, I think the camera is a dealbreaker.

Does the camera do anything else beside light color control?

From what I've read in past deals, if your tv isnt mounted you could move it a little further forward so the light can span out a little more. The effects will look a little dimmer but it may cover the perimeter of the TV still. Hope i'm making sense.

Agreed, then I saw reviews where people hid it by the soundbar below and you couldn't even see it. Going to give that a try.

From the Amazon q and a - the camera will not capture the full screen on larger tvs, as a result colors will not be accurate to the edge of the tv (but rather closer to the middle).

I'm on the fence for the same reason.

Just placed some on my 75 inch tv yesterday. They work great, just took a little maneuvering to get all sides covered. The calibration process was different because of the size of my tv
