Jesus... some SDers are some choosy beggars. Amex rotates/mixes the coupons/promos, like every company does.

The $100 on $500 lasted for 3 months and only ended 2 months ago. The targeted $150 on $1000 is active until July. There's that $120 on $599 targeted offer as well. And now they are have another 10% offer that lasts until december that gives up to $1500 back... people buying a high end gaming PC/laptop are assured to get more money back than the two previous coupons.

It blows my mind that people are actually complaining about the offers AMEX is handing out for Dell, you know a place that is offering something better?
I found "spend $599, get $120" for my Platinum card

Yes, it should. Always has worked for me in the past.

In fact, you can triple dip. You still get the Dell points/cashback/whatever they call it.

Have both this 10% and existing $150 off $1000 on same card! So best case scenarios of 25% off.

I saw this deal when I was looking at my Amex offers last week and I thought I'd check back here to see if there was anything good on sale at Dell. Has anybody aware of anything that's on a good deal or worth buying from Dell right now?

Every blue moon Amex gives you a deal you can use such as $50 off $50 or more at Home Depot or Best Buy, but mostly they are deals such as $50 off of $1500 at a spa in New Mexico or at a Parisian boutique. Even if you are rich enough to be in the market for this kind of product, the discount is so small I doubt it would influence your decision.
and I've got to add 130 of those damn boutique offers so I can see the normal ones. smdh

No.

The offer is meant to be for Dell Business products (dell.com/amex) but if you find your way to the Dell Home side and make a purchase, it does work. I know for 100% certainty that the Dell Outlet does not work.

As a long time Dell reseller, I have to agree that their Latitude laptops are overpriced.

Your best bet is looking at the Dell Outlet when they have coupons that apply to your model of Latitude to save even more.

But overall, I have a hard time justifying the cost of a brand new Latitude. They're great laptops, but not THAT great! Smilie

hard to get the one I want at outlet. I need that smartcard reader. And even thou its a cheap add-on option. Most laptop don't come with it.

LOL! I have the opposite experience! I could care less about the smart card reader, but choices with the specs I need invariably have the un-needed smart card reader!
