Do coupons still work on clearance like they used to (internal flags on clearance were 'price change' rather than a separate clearance flag, so clearance items were always at 'regular price')? There's art supplies and LED lamps on clearance and also a lot of the PPE like the alcohol wipes that keep popping up here. I'm probably going to get a lamp and fill it out with a lot of KN95 masks (pack of 20 $10 down from $35... or down from $50 if you believe one store over the other) to use while sanding wood and grinding/polishing concrete and granite.

Many times the T&C in the coupon are different that what works/does not work at register.

There usually are "exclusions" that the coupon works on,

But you would need to go to the store to confirm/deny whether coupon works.

Maybe others could post their success stories,

Obviously you like to over pay, you should just continue doing so on amazon.LMAO

Have you seen Staples prices, like, ever? Most of the stuff I look for is more expensive *after* their 20/100 coupons than just getting it delivered from Amazon. Staples is a mere shell of their former glory, hanging around for the corporate accounts that won't let employees buy from a non-office-supply store source and for the stuff you don't have time to order in and are willing to pay a 100%-300% premium to pick up today.

The picture of the coupon shows it is only valid on 6/24 but the coupon shown on the link you provided shows it "Ends 6/24", which implies it is valid any time between now and 6/24.

Where did you get the picture from? Which is correct?
If it's only valid on 6/24 it also ends that day but I see the implication. 40% off is a huge discount to offer everyone for 6 days when there's no way to enforce one per customer.

Well, I think you're exaggerating a bit at the 100%-300% premium. Or delusional. I've gotten SLICKDEALS linkies for some great prices. And they CAN be an ok source for K-Cups.

Comments like these are not helpful, IMHO.

Staples is in financial trouble. No one is buying office products there, especially in-store, and shopping at Amazon online instead. Hence this in-store enticement.

Most retail stores have ridiculous premiums on certain items. $15.79 for a basic A-B USB cable. $9.88 a Walmart. $3.00 for a Monoprice on Amazon Prime. 20 years ago it was more like $30 for a plain USB cable, $50 for a 'gold plated' cable and $100 for a Monster cable back when printers didn't come with cables specifically so stores could rip people off overcharging them for one on top of the "warranty". HDMI was an even bigger ripoff. There's plenty of things that aren't huge ripoffs but still 20-50% over Walmart or Target and Staples isn't a little independent store or grocery store that just happens to have a few other things. You have to really be aware of prices on what you buy.

I see you've never had to purchase a cable from them before. I did once, then had to point out that the price on the website was 1/4 of the instore price - $50 vs $12.95 online on their own store. The store manager had to over-ride to match the online price, and he only did it "because I came to the store after seeing the online price" and that the in-store prices were for same day pickup and they were not required to match their own online pricing. Realize that this was a $6-$7 cable at Amazon, but I had an employee that broke their monitor cable and needed a replacement that day.

But, hey, if you need a cable, or a simple mouse [staples.com] for $15 more than Amazon's every day price and triple the Amazon CCC best price, they're right there for you.

This should work if you order $50+ of qualifying items on the kiosk and then pay at the register, correct?
Do any of you have recent experience using a 5 digit code successfully at the register using a receipt from the kiosk? I've done it with a targeted in-store coupon code (possibly 16 digits) over a year ago and that worked fine.

Celebrate working from home, by leaving it and coming to our stores

But seriously Staples doesn't give a crap about regular people walking in and out of their stores. The big money is made in corporate contracts

Apparently decent coupon; the targeted ones in email have been paltry for some time.

There's no language limiting to stock on hand so... maybe can use to pay for some coffee at respectable savings.

But can only pay because no actual inventory in any of 20 stores within (even distant) reach.

Which begs the question: Why should customers visit stores when the items have to be ordered anyway?
