Used to get cheap furniture like this, keep the hardware and ditch the laminated particle board and stain a blank of real wood from the hardware store to replace it. Made a $40 piece feel like a hundred bucks.
Of course with the price of wood now, not the as cheap a DIY upgrade it used to be.
It literally will become $100 with lumber prices today…
I bought one of these to put on a covered porch (well out of any direct precipitation) to put plants on. I liked it so much I bought another. We'll see how it hold up...

Just got this last week. Decent shelf for the price. Actually bigger then I initially thought, so I had to move some stuff around.

The top "wood" piece actually looks pretty decent as well. The bottom shelf seems to be pretty flimsy and appears that it wont hold much weight. Nevertheless, still happy with it.

I have this, bought it to make an "L" shaped desk out of my work from home desk. (as I just placed it to the left of my current desk). The top piece of "wood" is actually pretty thick and heavy, and has a rectangle of metal that it sits on top of, so shouldn't warp.
