No problem, just use this to join for $45 and get a $45 gift card to use toward the coffee maker. They run this special a lot, so next year you can just let your current membership expire and sign up with the offer again (just did this myself like a week ago).

Do you honestly think shipping some pods back to nespresso so they can pull 2 soda cans worth of aluminum out of them is better for the environment than just tossing them out? It's not.

If you need to walk the dichotomous tightrope of convenience and environmental, there are several K-cups that are completely compostable. This is the way.

As for product, I've had it since December and it works well. Simple and straightforward.

Pros:
-Large water capacity (among the highest)
-Seems well built, basic and easy to use.
-$70 is cheap
-Only appliance of its kind (Nespresso & Keurig)
-I read this has same pressure as other high tier Nespresso and Keurigs.
-You can start the brew cycle for your k-cup immediately after turning on...you don't have to wait for pre-heating. Other Keurigs I've had you need to wait until preheated to start brew cycle.

Cons:
-No frills at all, no timer, no wake up, no special cycles, etc. That said, it looks pretty good. Simple and basic...unlike an Instant Pot which lights up like a pachinko machine.
-Reservoir is directly on rear, can't see fill level without looking behind.
-Occasional grinds in Nespresso especially when brewing larger size (I only use it for espresso, so not big issue for me)
-Lower tier brand.

Tempting. A lot of negative reviews that it only dispenses about half the volume it's supposed to. That would get annoying quickly!

I didn't know this existed and I don't like pod machines, but I gotta admit this is a such a solid name lol

instant pot and instant pod. too bad they couldn't find an equally nice name for their air fryer. that one is called the instant vortex, and that doesn't have the same ring to it lol

At least for Nespresso, they offer free recycling via free prepaid UPS bags. Now cost per pod compared to regular coffee/espresso is where they really fall short, but at least for me, they still offer a good balance of convenience & quality.

Is the Nespresso function the same as a Nespresso machine? I know on all of the OriginalLine Nespresso machines the output is exactly the same.

I suspect the reusable k cup thingy is the best. But maybe it makes bad coffee. It's a lot cheaper for sure.
