Best Buy won't Price Match for me. they are saying: "I do really apologize about this situation, unfortunately, the policy is clear about items that are on sale and this one is in the section of 'deals'".

I just checked and the Target copy seems to be digital only. Do you have a link for the physical copy at target?

Oh, did GameStop finally stop that dishonest practice of gutting games and then selling the opened copies as new? Always despised that crap. If it's not factory-sealed then it should be advertised and sold as pre-owned, period. Any GameStops near me are showing only 1 copy so if past experience is any indication then they are probably opened copies.

For that reason I ended up just price-matching with Best Buy online chat and doing store pickup. It's significantly closer anyway since the nearby GameStop was shuttered some months ago.

I don't think Target carries the physical version at all. Couldn't even find a SKU for it in the system in Target inventory checker on Brickseek. So digital-only from what I could tell.

iirc Nintendo charges for the cartridges (and can only come from them).
That and packaging cost for low volume might be pricey.

Lmao. What??? That's one of the funniest things I've heard in a while. There has never been a game that only got updated on one or the other. Patches are always for both physical and digital versions of games.
