Good deal but only saves me $2.10 over getting 2 $50 cards from Costco. I might still bite since I'm cheap and buy lots of Switch games lol but obviously this is great for someone without a Costco account.

Costco already stopped me ordering more. It maxes out at 3 per user.
(Even more worrying I guess is I've spent $150+ on Switch digital games already!)

FYI there is a $30 Target Circle reward with 3 different purchases of $100 or more. Confirmed this works with 2x$50 and Red Card.

So 3x ($300) comes out to $263.64 with a $30 Target Circle reward.

Yes but it's wise to compare deals to other deals to interpret the true value of any given deal. Silly to not point out a cheaper price on a site literally called slickdeals

To those seeing this deal for the first time, just be aware this happens regularly. Less regularly (perhaps a few times a year), they are 15%-20+% without having to buy one at full price (i.e. "truly" 15+% off)

For the last two years I loaded up on $70-for-$50. Early this year it was via Walmart (https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/618568) and the year before that was Newegg. FYI there is a $200 limit on eShop.

Obviously this beats no deal at all but don't feel like you have to jump on this unless you actually plan on buying a game in the near future.

If you have a Red Card, you get a little over $12 off of two $50 cards.

Over what time frame? I've probably bought 10 from Costco but never more than 2 in a month.

This is a better deal than Costco. $40 for $35. Vs $50 for $45.
I agree with my Red Card it is better than Costco deal.

Hahah yea I was cut off from purchasing the digital eshop cards too. They do have them in store in a 4x$25 pack for $90 from what I can recall.
