I have had this for about a year, used it 14 times at least, probably more. It has significantly made me better at steaks and chicken and ribs, and made cooking time less stressful. I can hit perfect temps on que, while relaxing and monitoring the temp from another part of the house. It will warn you when 5 minutes are left, and when they are done. it does not tell you when to flip over, or how hot to set the grill, that's up to you. They do have a high temp limit (500) and can get damaged when hotter (such as a grease fire). It will warn you when it's in danger of the high temp limit. It also is less accurate with slow cooking ribs at high temps (200) for some reason. But for steaks, it rocks.
